Managed Benefits, Inc. has been serving the employee benefits needs of a wide array of clients since the company’s incorporation in 1995. Groups currently served by MBI range in size from two-employee start-ups, to multi-state corporations with thousands of employees. The diverse needs of our clients are supported by flexible and strategic service delivery. MBI’s clients receive services ranging from brokerage for a single benefit plan, to comprehensive consulting and planning for all employee health and welfare benefits, Section 125 administration, COBRA services, retirement plans, employee communications and HR resources.

While MBI is relatively young as a company, MBI staff members have a wealth of experience in employee benefits and the insurance industry. And unlike many brokerage or consulting practices, Managed Benefits focuses solely on employee benefits. MBI staff members have in-depth knowledge of all aspects of Benefits Management including the compliance and regulatory issues. Our carrier relationships and expertise in the areas of plan administration, underwriting, claims, membership, and contracts allow us to help you enter into the best business relationships for your company from the start, and then to take ownership of any issues that may arise for you and bring them to resolution.

We have a service team specifically dedicated to supporting each MBI client for the day-to-day administration of their benefit programs. Our service team members average 13 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Education and communication are the keys to ensuring that employee benefit plans run as smoothly as possible. Employees who understand how to access their benefits, and the basic coverage provided, will experience greater satisfaction with the plan. Employee enrollment meetings are the start of the educational process.
